EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW (PNP) #153: June 24, 2020

Canada conducted another Express Entry Draw for immigration to Canada on June 24.

A total of 362 Express Entry candidates, who had previously obtained a nomination from a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) received invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residence in this draw.

The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement for this draw was 696, which is a drop of 47 points than the previous PNP-specific Express Entry draw conducted on June 10 and had a CRS threshold of 743 points.

A tie-break rule was applied in this draw by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The time stamp used was April 23, 2020, at 10:39:30 UTC, which means all PNP candidates with a CRS score of at least 696 and who submitted their profile before this time and date, received an ITA in this round.

So far, the government of Canada has held 15 Entry draws targeting PNP and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates since it announced special coronavirus measures restricting travel on March 18.

As of June 24, a total of 46,392 principal Express Entry applicants have been invited to apply for permanent residence in 2020.
