British Columbia invited over 435 Skilled Workers and Entrepreneurs to apply for provincial nomination in new PNP draws on August 17

British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) conducted four immigration draws on August 17, 2021.

More than 435 Skilled Workers and Entrepreneurs under the Skills Immigration (SI) & Express Entry BC (EEBC) Streams, Entrepreneur Immigration Base Category, and Entrepreneur Immigration Regional Pilot category of BC PNP received invitations to apply for provincial nomination in these draws.

In first draw, total 363 immigration candidates from the Skilled Worker, International Graduate as well as Entry Level and Semi-Skilled sub-categories of SI and EEBC streams received invitations. The minimum provincial score requirement for this draw ranged between 73 and 91 points.

In another draw, total 64 ITAs issued to candidates whose occupation falls under NOC 0621 – Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers or NOC 0631 – Restaurant and Food Service Managers with scores of 106.

Another eight invitations issued through the Entrepreneur Immigration Base Category and less than five invitations through the Entrepreneur Immigration Regional Pilot category.

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) offers a fast-track pathway for high-demand skilled foreign workers to gain permanent residency and immigrate directly to British Columbia.

The Express Entry BC (EEBC) stream of BCPNP allows the province to search & invite qualified candidates who have the qualifications, education and work experience with a valid profile in the Federal Express Entry system whereas the Skills Immigration Category of BCPNP is designed for skilled and semi-skilled workers whose occupations are in high demand in British Columbia.
