Around 204 immigration candidates get one-step closer of getting Canadian Permanent Residency!

British Columbia invited about 204 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination through six streams of the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) in a general draw and four occupation-specific invitation rounds held on March 22, 2022.

BC PNP invited a total of 132 of immigration candidates under its Express Entry BC or Skills Immigration categories through a general draw. Candidates, who received invitations in this draw, needed minimum provincial scores between 77 and 128 depending on the immigration stream.

Created in 2001, BC PNP allows the province of B.C. to select and nominate qualified prospective economic immigrants for permanent residence status in Canada. Upon receiving a nomination from BC PNP, successful candidates can apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for Canada PR Visa for themselves and their eligible family members.
