Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) – the PNP of Canadian province of Saskatchewan invited 496 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination for Canadian Permanent Residency in a new draw held on March 23, 2023.
The invitations were issued to Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand.
Furthermore, this SINP draw targeted 110 occupations/NOC codes when compared to 104 NOC codes in the February 2023 draw.
DISTRIBUTION OF INVITATIONS
Subcategory | Total Invitations Issued | Cut-Off |
Express Entry | 184 | 82 |
Occupations In-Demand | 312 | 82 |
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, or SINP, allows the province to nominate qualified immigration candidates with skills required in its labour market. Express Entry and In-Demand Occupation sub-categories are two prominent streams within the SINP for individuals who have education and work experience in a high-skilled and in-demand occupation.
While a minimum of one year of full-time work experience is essential to apply for both of its subcategories, a job offer or work experience in Canada is not required.
Express Entry candidates, who obtain a nomination through the SINP’s Express Entry sub-category, receive additional 600 points toward their CRS scores, effectively increasing their chances to get an invitation to apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in subsequent Express Entry draw.
