EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW #162: September 2, 2020

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted another Express Entry draw on September 2.

A total of 4,200 invitations to apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence were issued to Express Entry candidates in this draw.

Immigration candidates from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score threshold of 475 were eligible for this round of invitations.

IRCC used its tie-break rule in this draw and the timestamp used was September 2, 2020, at 14:17:32 UTC. That means all Express Entry candidates with a CRS score of at least 475 or above who had submitted their profile before this date & time, received ITAs in this invitation round.

This draw was the 29th draw of 2020 that brings the total number of ITAs issued this year to 69,950 – a new record for this date.
