DISTRIBUTION OF INVITATIONS
Out of total invites issued, 316 went to candidates under SINP’s Express Entry Subcategory while the remaining 212 invitations were issued to immigration candidates through Occupations In-Demand Subcategory.
In order to be invited in this draw, candidates under both these subcategories needed an Expression of Interest (EOI) score of at least 66.
Stream | Total Invitation issued | Minimum EOI score Requirement |
---|---|---|
Express Entry | 316 | 66 |
Occupations In-Demand | 212 | 66 |
Invitations were issued to candidates who have qualified work experience in one of the 16 in-demand occupations that include Managers in Manufacturing, Agriculture and Horticulture, Medical laboratory technologists, Paramedical, Medical radiation technologists, Occupational therapists, among others.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, or SINP, allows the province to nominate qualified foreign workers to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.
While a minimum of one year of full-time work experience is essential to qualify under both subcategories – Express Entry and Occupation in Demand; a job offer or work experience in Canada is not required.
Express Entry candidates, who obtain a nomination through the SINP’s Express Entry sub-category, receive additional 600 points toward their overall Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores, effectively increasing their chances to get an invitation to apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in subsequent Express Entry draw.
