EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW (PNP) #151: June 10, 2020
In its latest Express Entry Draw for immigration to Canada held on June 10, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 341 candidates to apply for permanent residence.
Express Entry candidates, who had previously obtained a nomination from a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), received invitations to apply (ITAs) in this draw.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement for this draw was 743.
IRCC applied its tie-break rule in this draw. All candidates with a CRS score of at least 743 who submitted their profile before April 14, 2020, at 13:25:51 UTC, received an invite in this round.
This was the seventh PNP-specific draw from the federal Express Entry system since special coronavirus measures went into place on March 18. IRCC has been regularly holding Express Entry draws targeting PNP and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates.
Despite the fact that Canada’s immigration policies and procedures have undergone major changes since March 18, the popular federal Express Entry system has remained fully operational. In fact there have still been more ITAs issued this year than at the same time in 2019.
Canada has now invited a total of 42,441 principal applicants to apply for permanent residence so far in 2020.
