Express Entry Draw #218– March 16, 2022
Canada issued 924 invitations to PNP candidates in new Express Entry Draw on March 16
Canada invited another 924 immigration candidates to apply for Permanent Residency (PR) in new Express Entry draw on March 16.
Express Entry candidates, who had a provincial nomination from Express-Entry aligned Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) received Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in the new invitation round.
In order to receive an ITA in this draw, candidates were required to have a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 754.
PNP candidates get automatic 600 points added to their CRS score when they receive their nomination; therefore, the CRS score cut-off for PNP-specific Express Entry draws is usually quite high.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-breaking rule and the time-stamp used was February 10, 2022 at 14:35:27 UTC. This means the PNP candidates who had a CRS score of 754 or more and had submitted their Express Entry profile before this time and date, received an invitation to apply (ITA) in this round of invitations.
